  • Berkeley Innovative Solutions Consulting Group — Student Consultant — Spring 2023

    • Provided consulting services to a Bay Area company as part of an interdisciplinary team of UCB MBA and master’s students

    • Performed research and assembled data for client's market entry prospects, identified unmet needs and developed a business model to expand the company’s scope of products

    Research Mentorship — Various research and career mentorship roles — Spring 2022-Spring 2023

    • Mentored four different early career scientists, training them in how to run assays, analyze & interpret data, and create effective presentations to advance their academic careers forward

    Women In Imaging Bootcamp, UC Berkeley Biophysics — Mentor — Fall 2022

    • Co-led a hands-on “nano-rotation” for incoming graduate students with no prior microscopy experience.

    • Student-run bootcamp with a goal to build community with women microscopists, learn about microscopy basics, gets hands-on with demos and nano-rotations, and see how imaging is applied at biotech companies

    inclusive Molecular & Cell Biology (IMCB) — Biophysics Ambassador — Fall 2019-Spring 2020

    • iMCB is a grassroots organization spearheaded by a previous MCB graduate student, Lisa Eshun-Wilson. The goal is to promote an inclusive and supportive environment for all graduate students and the surrounding community, especially providing a healthy and supportive environment for under-represented minorities.

    • Acted as a bridge between the MCB program and the Biophysics program, helping iMCB grow beyond its own department.

    SWPS Graduate School Panel — Panel Member — Fall 2019

    • The Society of Women in the Physical Sciences hosts a panel for womxn graduate students to speak on their experience in STEM careers. The goal is to help undergraduates who are trying to determine their future academic career in a safe environment for womxn scientists.

    Supplemental Instruction Leader — Learning Co-Op, University of Vermont — Fall 2013-Spring 2015

    • Led a biweekly group-based, peer-run study system for general chemistry. Attended the lectures and hosted two office hours each week with the goal of incorporating study skills, techniques, and strategies relevant to the course while also reviewing lecture content.

    Individual Subject Area Tutor — Learning Co-Op, University of Vermont — Fall 2012-Spring 2013

    • Met with students one-on-one to offer course specific review of classes such as general chemistry, introductory biology, calculus, algebra, and introductory physics.
